Beginning my Chiropractic training in 2001 I quickly realised that whilst allopathic medicine could provide the answer for the treatment of structural issues and communicable diseases it provided little solution for the chronic inflammatory, neuro-degenerative and auto-immunity conditions that were becoming much more common in clinical practice.
I consider the struggle of this generation and those to come is less concerned with finding a solution to communicable disease but rather fighting against the tsunami of auto-immunity, chronic inflammatory and neuro-degenerative conditions that result from the chronic stress associated to living in our modern technological environment.
To address these issues I consider functional neurology through the use of manual muscle testing will become the gold standard in the clinical setting. Using P-DTR we find the information that disrupts a myotatic reflex and reset that instantly. Immediately reducing the need for the nervous system to produce a stress response; resulting in a nervous system more capable of adapting to the external environment. A concept called Neurological health.
I work full time in private practice specialising in chronic inflammatory, neuro-degenerative and auto-immunity conditions and in my spare time compete in long distance endurance cycling events and in Ironman triathlons.
